ELVIS SCORES A HIT AT FOUNDATION'S ANNUAL MEETING

Elvis Presley (aka Tribute Artist Dennis Thornberry) was a smashing success at the Aurora Museum Foundation's annual meeting March 5 at the Aurora History Museum.  Thornberry mimicked rock star Presley's songs and moves from his early success in the 1950's to his more subdued performances in the 1970's to the delight of foundation members and other museum visitors who made up the audience of 50 plus for the 90-minute performance.

Thank you so much for performing for our birthday party for Danny.  You were very easy to work with, and I so enjoyed the performance.  Danny was totally surprised to have you here and very happy.  You are a wonderful Elvis and have given our whole company some great memories - we are still talking about it.  I could have watched and listened to you all day, I can easily see why Elvis has remained popular for so long.  You have the Kings voice, actions and moves down so well, I felt like he was really here.  Thank you again and I hope to see you perform somewhere else in the near future. - Debbie
